Federer vs Soderling US Open Quarterfinal Live:After a tricky third round match, World No.1 & 5 time US Open Champion Roger Federer powered into the quarterfinals outplaying Spaniard Tommy Robredo in straight sets (7-5,6-2,6-2).In the opening set Robredo came up with some good game but Federer raised his game persistently as he struck 35 winners to just 18 unforced errors to wrap up the match in one hour and 48 minutes.
Federer will now meet Robin Soderling of Sweden, who continued his good run at grandslams.It will be their third meeting at the grandslams, the last time they met was at this year's Roland Gaross Final & the fourth round of Wimbledon.
