Federer vs Roddick Wimbledon Final Live

Federer vs Roddick Wimbledon Final Live:

Roger Federer powered into a record 20th consecutive grandslam final, where he will bid to capture a record breaking 15th grandslam title as he faces old rival Andy Roddick who entered his third Wimbledon Final outplaying Local star Andy Murray in tight 4 sets in the semifinal, in final of Wimbledon 2009.

Federer is just one win away from surpassing Pete Sampras's all time record of 14 grandslam titles, The Swiss Maestro who lost his Wimbledon crown last year to arch rival World No.1 Rafael Nadal will definitely try to retain his title this year.If Federer wins Wimbledon he would regain the No. 1 spot in the South African Airways 2009 ATP Rankings.

Former World No.1 Andy Roddick under the guidance of his new coach Larry Stefanki paved into his 5th grandslam final after almost 4 years. The American's lone grandslam victory comes long back in 2003 at the US Open since then he has played 3 grandslam finals, 2 at Wimbledon & one at US Open but only to lose to Federer each time.

But now the big serving A Rod has got another chance and wouldn't let it go way, as he seems to have improved a lot during the last couple of months & is a strong obstacle on Federer's way for a sixth Wimbledon title.

Federer has lost just a single set enroute to the final which clearly shows how dominant he is on grass while Roddick has gone through some tough matches losing six sets enroute to the final.

Head to Head:
Federer leads 18-2.
