Federer vs Soderling French Open Final Live

Federer vs Soderling French Open Final Live:

World No.2 Roger Federer is just a victory away from making history; The 14th grandslam title & maiden French Open Trophy!, when he faces the underdog Robin Soderling of Sweden in the final of French Open 2009.Federer is making his 19th grandslam final appearance and a victory would put it his name in to the history books as just the sixth man to win all 4 grandslam titles so far & this seems to be a more probable outcome as his arch rival Rafael Nadal is out of his away.

But his performance has been quite patchy over the last 2 weeks, as you could see him coming back from two set deficit against Tommy Haas, a struggling 5 set win over Del Potro in semifinal & has lost 6 sets on his way to the French Open final which is the most he has dropped so far in a grandslam.

Robin Soderling the darkhorse moved into his maiden grandslam final with thrilling 5 set victory over Fernando Gonzalez of Chile coming back from 1-4 deficit in the final set.The dethroner of World No.1 Rafael Nadal seems to be in great form & so the Swede native cannot be underestimated.

Head to Head:
Federer leads 9-0 all time & 2-0 on clay.
